Eldon Klaassen is the CEO of Allegro Development, which he founded in 1984. Since the company’s inception, Mr. Klaassen has spearheaded the development of Allegro’s leading, multi-commodity energy trading and risk management solutions. The company’s leadership has been widely recognized, including ranking in the Leader’s Quadrant in the 2011 Gartner report, “Magic Quadrant for Energy Trading and Risk Management Platforms,” and receiving #1 rankings in the 2011 Energy Risk Software Survey for both Ease of Use & Customer Support. Under Mr. Klaassen’s leadership, Allegro has delivered the most advanced technology, services, support and education to drive value and profitability for its global customer base. The Allegro 8 platform offers functionality across front, middle, and back offices for optimal decision making and improved business process efficiency. Jarett Janik Jarett Janik joined Allegro as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer in June 2008, and has a proven track record of successful financial management and an ability to grow companies. Mr. Janik is responsible for Allegro's global finance operations and accounting organization. Mr. Janik was most recently Vice President, Finance with Infor Global Solutions Ltd. and previously served as Infor’s Global Controller and Vice President of Audit and Compliance. Infor is the third largest provider of Enterprise Resource Planning ("ERP") and related systems, and the tenth largest software company in the world. Prior to Infor, Mr. Janik served as Vice President, Controller Global Technology and E-Banking Services at Certegy Inc. and as Chief Financial Officer and Secretary for Netzee, Inc.
Evan Cox was named Chief Technology Officer in 2000. Mr. Cox is responsible for supervising all of Allegro's research and development activities including its technology, architecture, product development, and quality assurance initiatives. He has been a driving force behind Allegro’s technology breakthroughs including grid computing, a Service Oriented Architecture, and a component-based platform that delivers advanced decision analytics, dynamic 3D graphic displays and other unprecedented capabilities. Since joining Allegro in 1997, Mr. Cox has served as software developer, technology developer, and chief development officer.
Michael Hinton is Chief Customer Officer of Allegro. He is Allegro’s customer advocate throughout all aspects of the customer lifecycle. Mr. Hinton manages all interactions between Allegro and its customers ensuring each maximizes the value of their investment. Since joining Allegro in 1997, Mr. Hinton has held a number of significant cross-functional roles in sales, services and management. Most recently, as Chief Marketing Officer, he was responsible for increasing brand awareness across the industry while increasing market share. Before that, he was Vice President of Product Marketing, where he led a global team in support of Allegro's field operations. Prior to joining Allegro, Mr. Hinton held general management positions with Independent Gas Companies (IGC), and Skelgas, Inc.
Reiner Musier joined Allegro as Chief Marketing Officer in April 2010, and is responsible for all global marketing operations. He leads Allegro’s marketing strategy and communications, brand development, corporate communications, and public and analyst relations. Dr. Musier brings more than two decades of varied sales, marketing and product strategy experience to his new role. Most recently, he was Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at APX, Inc., a solutions provider for energy and environmental markets. He co-founded their carbon market infrastructure business and helped establish APX as a leading brand with financial institutions, regulators, policy-makers, and market participants. Prior to APX, Dr. Musier held the role of Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Siemens and NewEnergy Associates where he successfully drove the company’s worldwide marketing presence across subsidiaries in the U.K., Germany, and the U.S. Past roles also include Vice President of Product Marketing for Aspen Technology and Product Manager and Staff Consultant with Rohm and Haas Company.
As Senior Vice President of Sales, Brett Friedman is responsible for the global sales organization, including business development, presales and implementation of Allegro’s sales strategy. Mr. Friedman joined Allegro in January 2010 and brings two decades of extensive and proven sales leadership to his role. Mr. Friedman was most recently Vice President of Mid Market Sales at SAP where he led a team that consistently exceeded revenue and margin targets. Prior to SAP, he held various successful leadership positions at i2 Technologies, including Senior Vice President. Previous roles also include Regional Sales and Pre-Sales Director for DecisionPoint Applications, Inc. and Business Development Manager at Oracle Corporation.
Randy Asire is responsible for Allegro's systems and support, overseeing system administration, support, and the technical consulting practice. His specialists work closely with Allegro deployment teams on every project to ensure that customers' legacy and existing systems integrate properly with the Allegro solution. Mr. Asire has more than 17 years of experience in a variety of roles in energy and other industries including chief technology officer, director of development, support manager, developer, and project manager.
Mr. Brown has nearly two decades of extensive energy, ETRM and leadership experience. Most recently, he served as the Executive Vice President at Ventyx, a provider of business solutions for the energy industry, where he was responsible for consulting, data services, and analytics software business units. Prior to Ventyx, Mr. Brown was Chief Operating Officer of New Energy Associates where he oversaw the consulting, support and development groups. Additional roles at New Energy Associates include Vice President Energy Trading and Risk Management, Director of Market Analysis and Client Principal. He also held roles at Continental Power Exchange, Inc. and EDS/Energy Management Associates.
Christopher Ducanes is responsible for managing the legal, contractual and regulatory functions of Allegro, including corporate governance, transactions, commercial licensing, intellectual property, employment law, litigation and legal support for Allegro's various business units. With more than 13 years of legal experience, Mr. Ducanes served as Vice President and General Counsel at Healthvision, a healthcare company providing Web-based solutions and as general counsel for OAO Technology Solutions, a provider of managed information technology services. Mr. Ducanes also held legal positions with law firms specializing in employment litigation, corporate and international law.
Roddy Macnab Mr. Macnab joined Allegro in 2004 as the Business Development Director in Asia Pacific, where he worked to grow software license revenue, customer base and market share in that region. He also held the role of Global Account Director before being named Managing Director, AsiaPac in November 2008. Before joining Allegro, Mr. Macnab held the role of Managing Director, Asia Pacific for GlobalView Software Inc., a leading provider of energy market data solutions. Also at GlobalView, he worked as the Regional Area Manager for the East Coast region of the U.S. Previous roles include European Managing Director for Leading Market Technologies and Sales Manager at Dow Jones Telerate Inc.
