Former Bush Secretary To Focus on The Global Energy Race and Its Impact on Politics and the Energy Marketplace

Secretary Abraham’s presentation entitled “The Global Energy Race” will focus on the current global energy landscape and explore the challenges geopolitical events are presenting to energy markets and commodity prices.  He will also discuss developments taking place in Washington, D.C., the status of federal regulations, and his outlook for the future.

As the tenth Secretary of Energy in United States history, under President George W. Bush, and with two decades of varied energy industry and political experience, Mr. Abraham brings a unique perspective to the current trends and challenges facing the worldwide energy industry. As Secretary of Energy he helped devise and implement America’s first national energy plan, worked to broaden international energy partnerships and conducted a number of studies on world oil, gas, electricity and other markets.
